My Philosophy of Teaching Japanese
I want to share the excitement of expanding one’s world through Japanese with all language learners.
My own journey started with a love for Taiwanese dramas, which inspired me to learn Chinese.
Eventually, I graduated from the Department of Sociology at National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
At the time, I was the only foreign student in my year. All classes and exams were conducted in Chinese, and many were written exams—challenging even for local students.
I still remember what my professor told me at graduation:
“Very few foreigners enter the Sociology Department, and even fewer manage to graduate. What you achieved is truly impressive.”
After graduation, I returned to Japan and worked in a job that required Japanese, English, and Chinese.
I also taught Japanese at a language school in Taiwan and worked as a company employee there.
Through these experiences, I realized that language learning is not only fun—it opens up so many new possibilities in life.
While in university, I also studied Thai and French as second foreign languages.
Currently, I’m casually studying Korean.
Being able to speak another language allows you to read books in different languages and gain new knowledge.
It also lets you communicate with people from around the world, make friends, enjoy new experiences—
and fill your days with more joy and excitement.
Would you like to start this exciting language journey with me?
